"Lena was the best Goshawk I have flown in 30 years of flying goshawks. She truly flew over 50 oz. in the winter on pheasants and rabbits. Watching her take a adult size turkey, I flushed on the wing , like a giant pheasant is a memory I’ll never forget. She was able to catch all the Large quarry goshawks can take from Jack rabbits to geese. A bird like this needs to continue her gene pool in falconry so she was given back to Lance."
